Clunk, been searching and reading for ages .
If u look at this guys review http://www.xtremecomputing.co.uk/rev...?id=275&page=7 , I think its possible to have the psu on its side and still fit the rad in the bottom. Maybe my best bet will be to buy the case and the rad, then see how much space is left and go from there..

    • Madafwo's system
      • Motherboard:
      • Asus P6TD Deluxe
      • CPU:
      • Intel Core i7 920 @ 4Ghz
      • Memory:
      • 24Gb Corsair Vengeance
      • Storage:
      • 1TB Drive of some description
      • Graphics card(s):
      • Asus GTX560Ti 448 Core
      • PSU:
      • Corsair VX 550W
      • Case:
      • Antec P182
      • Operating System:
      • 7 Ultimate 64Bit
      • Monitor(s):
      • Sony 40" TV
      • Internet:
      • O2 8Mb @ 8Mb
the PSU does mount on its side, which does leave room for the rad next to it.

Check this and it has some pretty cool pictiures of how it can be done.

That wont work with the galaxy, its much longer than that, you would have to hang it out of the back of the case with motherboard standoffs like i have done with mine

hmm cant see what Psu that guy had.
The galaxy is much longer. So far, the smallest Psu I can find is the Corsair 620w(150x150x86), comapared to the Galaxy at a whopping(150x220x86).
There was one last option that a friend mentioned to me a few weeks back, MountainMods. When I first saw them I at the looks, but seems to be growing on me with the potential. You guys have any experience or thoughts on the matter.
I cud fit a galaxy in so easy ofcourse, and they have precut holes for the PA120.3 with fan/grills installed already.

With the mountainmods, go for a powder coated one instead of the aluminium finishes, Ive seen both and the bare metal is a bit ropey but the powder coated one is pretty smart.

No, you cant have a motherboard in it, instead, it uses a series of pulleys, wheels and paddles.

http://mountainmods.com/product_info...products_id=77 Its just perfect, the other model I referred just has more drive bays, but I dont need many.
What a damn relief, my missus is about to pack after my days of searching. Ordering it by the end of this week

Its a nice case, shouldnt be any problems with space there, apart from where to put it

Oh man, I love MM cases! I wish I had the money and space for one. I've seen some absolutely amazing dual loop systems in them. If money's no object you could go down the route of CPU and possibly NB on one loop and GFX on another (You'd probably only need a PA120.1 for a single card).

    That'd be sweet!

Edit: Just noticed I'm a senior member, makes me feel powerful!

Well really that not that expensive, the Silverstone TJ07 with window was basically the same price. Space is ok so no reason not too, I think for watercooling its perfect
Going to only have 1 loop for now, just CPU and NB until I get the hang of watercooling and gain a bit of confidence. Then I'll get a 8800gtx and go from there. Tbh I don't really see the point of 2x8800gtx's, they are so powerful already and I dont think u wud gain much to justify the price and extra watercooling u wud need.
Think that a PA120.3 is enuf for CPU, NB and 1x8800gtx? I cud do what most do and have 6 fans, 3 in and out, wonder if a shroud wud fit aswell?

The PA120.3 will handle that no problem, I know a guy running his cpu and 2 8800gtxs on a PA120.3 and the temps are fantastic. Going for push-pull will get you the best performance you can get and the thermochill PA series are designed so that you don't need a shroud. You could use one if you wanted to but I don't know how much (if at all) more effective it would be.

You dont need push pull on the PA series rads, just low powered, low cfm fans are enough, and yes, the PA120.3 will handle that lot easily, with headroom for another GTX and even the SB if you wanted to.

Cool thats good news, makes me wonder why some ppl go so far then with a PA120.3 amd another rad, with 2 pumps etc. Good news about the shroud, wasnt looking forward to trying 6 fans and a shroud. But Ill take ur advice Clunk and just use 3x push and maybe just 1 to pull as that will blow over the MB anyway to give a nice draft over the memory etc

Good choice with the Mountain mods case.

PA120.3 can handle pretty much anything you throw at it. You can also get the mountain mods blow hole res as well, looks good for the money and should make topping up the lopp really easy.
