    Auzentech + X-Fi = Awesome ?

I've been looking for a new sound card for a while and have stayed away from Creative because their cards don't do live encoding to 5.1 which for me is a necessity. There are a few cards that do do Dolby Digital Live and they even use optical ports as outputs: very nice. But they only support up to EAX 2.0: not so nice, I guess.

Great news though, Auzentech have licensed X-Fi and they should have some cards out by May: Awesome. Dolby Digital Live support not available in Vista until Q4: not so awesome, I guess.

This still sounds like a great card to me because I assume I will still be able to use DD Live in XP until DX10 games arrive and I need to swap to Vista.
    Anyone else care?
