    CPU Buying Advice

I am considering upgrading my current CPU, an AMD Athlon 64 3700+, with the AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 4200+.

Just wondering if the upgrade is even worth considering? Oh it's a socket 939 Asus A8N-SLI Premium board, pc is used mainly for gaming (Ge-Force 6800 GT), surfing the internet and a bit of image editing.

    Any advice appreciated, cheers

Does the pc do everything you want it to?

I'd save the money and wait for next amd and intel chips/sockets to come out.

To be honest I was leaning that way myself, now to start pricing 8800 cards
