    Trouble OCing E4300

I have an E4300 + DS3 combo that I have trouble hitting 2.8/3.0GHz with and just wondered if there are any known problems OCing on this board with an X1950XT ?

As a note I had to set my PCI-E MHz to 105 for anything over stock E4300 speed.

Drop the PCI-e mhz back, and disabled any CPU features you dont need like Execute disable bit. Update bios, usual stuff.

It's almost always something simple you've forgotten. Done it myself loads of times.

I have latest F10 BIOS, everything like EIST turned off and have tried different voltages on CPU.

Will try dropping back the PCI-E speed later tonight.

    Damn ATI !
