Sound systems upgrade

So, after dying one to many times in CS thanks to my music speakers and having family look in dissaprovingly one too many times in eve-online due to "colourful" ventrilo language, i have decided its time to upgrade my sound systems. I was also going to use this as an excuse to get a new sounds-card to replace the on-board audio, Do these choices look good or do people have other suggestions?

A headset for gaming, seems good VFM compared to most of the sennheiser headsets, anyone know the differences between this and the PC151?

A new soundcard- does anyone know the difference between this and the x-fi extreme gamer- some people have suggested that its just a different coloured back plate- if that's the case would the latter be a better buy at £5 less?

If you have any suggestions for better bits than these for each do please drop them below, budget is fairly flexible but should probably stay under £150 all inclusive. I have speakers for music so the headset is for gaming only and light music while sat camping gates ;p
