    Talking New system, opinions please!

    This is what I've spec'd up for my new system. If anything seems out of place please say so!
    • Shuttle SN85G
    • Athlon 64 3200+ OEM
    • Corsair XMS3200 512mb Platinum CL2
    • Hitachi Deskstar 160gb
    • Crucial Radeon 9800 Pro 128mb
    • Sony DRU-530A 8x DVD-/+RW
    ...for a grand total of £1065.11 inc delivery.

    Not bad I thought The Hitachi drive is currently top of the leaderboard on storagereview.com and going by the review it looks pretty decent.

    Thoughts?

    It is quieter by 0.3 db according to Storage Review.

    Shad try to get a retail CPU if u can afford the extra cash. it will come with a 3 year warranty. it will also save you £20+ on a HSF

    The shuttles have there own heatpipe thingy, so theres no need for the hs/f and, so really your just paying a premium for the warranty.

    ITs looking like a lovely system- be sure to post some benchies when ya finish it.

    Looks very nice indeed. Can you feel the jealousy from there???
    Its not worth paying the extra £10 for the retail boxed Athlon as you will (change to should) be overclocking it and seeing how far you can get
