    Im trying to find a Linux compatable USB network adaptor,

    any recommendations ?

    quite suprisingly a cheapo "Belkin F5D7050 v4XXX" worked with ubuntu 7.04 without needing anything but the passkey putting in.

    for ubuntu, at least there is a compatibility list on the website

    Ahh, but no wireless... has to be USB -> Ethernet port

    I have a "Linksys USB100TX EtherFast 10/100 USB Network Adapter" which worked fine with Debian. I've since gone wireless so I can promise it works with Ubuntu but I can't see any reason why not.

    Not sure where you would get one though - maybe ebay?
