What would you change from what I have done? I am looking for somthing very quite and I will be using the machine for alot of design work, working from home, media centre and a little bit of gaming (Not all at the same time!)

akasa zen case instead of the Praetorian and with an 8800GTS drop the sli motherboard for a gigabyte ds3 or asus P5B

    saves £50 odd quid

EDIT: the ram's a bit nasty too but I guess if you're not overclocking it will do ok

would 533mhz ram not be the best ram to go along side the e6600 which runs at 1066mhz? pretty confused . How is the 8800gts and the 8600gts for quietness?

my 8800gts is pretty quiet..not overclocked. In games the fan spools up a little but you would expect that. Idle it's barely noticable.

Does any one els have any suggestions? I would like to buy in the next hour. Will the ram I have chosen be crap? Shall I get a fatality 650i mobo instead of the asus? Is the PSU OK? Very importantly, is this system going to be quite as I leave it on alot.

8600 or 8800 for what I need? (It is between the too as I want direct x 10)

Will I need any aditional fans to what everything comes with?

If you're ever going to think of overclocking you should definitely get some better RAM.

Probably buy some quiet fans to replace the ones already in there, but maybe after you've got it set up so you can see how loud it is.

Don't bother with the fataliry thing.

I wont be overclocking. Why not fatality? Which mobo would you get for around £70-£80?

The fatality is fine at that price and if you're not overclocking.

Wait for a little bit longer..scans weekend today only will be up and some of your stuff may be on it.

The Corsair is your best bet either that or a little extra than the Xclio is the 620w Version

Yeah you get free delivery if you have over 25 posts and then continue to post 3 times a week (useful posts).

Go to the scan section and it tells you how to register.

Yes that 520w model is perfect for it

Yes, I have that same setup and 520w is more than enough (I have 640mb 8800gts). Also the the corsairs are quality PSU-s. One of the best ones imo.
