Looking for a free Partition Manager as Windows Disk manager won't delete a PQSERVICE partition.
Anyone point me to one ? Tried a few trial versions of ones but they don't actually let you CHANGE the partitions, just let you look at your handiwork as it were :/

Ubuntu Disc comes with a partition manager program on it. Just thought you'd be able to download it elsewhere.Quote:

The program *wont* be compatible, download the gparted livecd, windows is too sucky to deal with disks properly.

Except the gparted livecd is ~50mb, and ubuntu is more like 700mb, and the latter is specifically designed as a partition management system, bit of a difference.
lol but if he isn't using a cd-rw disk then he would waste 650mb whilst if he goes the ubuntu way he always has the option to install linux any time he may need it without having to wait for the dl
LiveUSB stick? Not that CD-R's are expensive, in fact a penny is worth more these days.
or external harddrive I accidentally installed windows on to my external now I use it to use windows on my laptop whenever I need it as I am using ubuntu 7.04 (beta) as the main os and the 40gb hardrive is a bit tight when dual-booting especially with 15 gb of music
