where do these wires go?

Hi,
Just assembling my new system and am slightly unsure as to which wires to use from the PSU to the ATX12V1 (cpu power) on my quadgt....
The board has 8 holes (apologies for stunning lack of technical jargon) the power supply provides on the same cable 2 x 4 male connectors - See pics below:

Use both.

The two plugs should clip together, they will only go in one way.

The idea is that you have more wires, rather than thicker wires.

You can only put so much power down a wire, and from a motherboard, its easyer too have more sockets with the same power, than thicker wires.

(if your really intrested, read up on AWG - American Wire Gauge)

yeah that's what i was looking for - 'clip-togetherness' but they don't...they do however have the two 'security latches' which would sit next to one another, and attach to the corresponding 'latch-welcomer' on the mobo....i reckon this must be the way forward.....cheers!

Yes, just have the clips on the same face and hook them to the socket latch.
