    mboard and ram

    im getting an abit quad gt motherboard, and i came across the ram in the link. just wondered if the two would go good together?

    Nice looking RAM, you can certainly get standard 800MHz stuff for half the price though.

    look at the geil one that someone has kindly posted in the bargains forum - you can get twice the ram for same money.

    Look for some crucial ballistix or something. I'm sure you can find the 8500 for less than that and will clock to ridiculous speeds. I've got a set of cell shock DDR800 running very happily at DDR1000 on that very same board.
