Gigabyte RMA
I've got a dead motherboard here, well within the 12months warranty. I would like to RMA it to GB, but there is no online procedure, so I emailed the UK support address.
This was day before Xmas eve, so they still might be on xmas leave. But has anyone else managed to RMA something to them?
Thanks

They probably aren't back until the 5th, but if you don't hear from them, get a phone number - Directory Enquiries will probably have them down as GBT Tech.

Within 12 months is normally the vendors responsibility?

I was thinking they werent back until the 5th, I've got their number anyway based in Milton Keynes.
I can't return it to the vendor as I bought it second hand, and it died after a few weeks. I've done this with things before like HD's and GFX cards when they've been in the 12months warranty.

Yes, Milton Keynes is right - as I've had them send me stuff to review before, and it's been from there.
Usually you end up dealing with the manufacturer even if you go to the vendor, so I'd say you'll be OK as long as the warranty is valid.

Ive tried to RMA stuff to them before - it was a laughing joke. Dont waste your time.

I emailed them lots about getting an RMA, but they just didnt reply.
EDIT: arse i just realised this is gigabyte, im talking about gigacube. Why do companies have to have simpler names? its just not fair..
