Raid 0 In Vista Asus A8N-SLI Mobo

    Hi,

Im trying to install vista ultimate on two raptors in raid 0 configaration, but i cant seem to load the raid drivers with this mobo (u know the bit where u press f6 on xp b4 installation).

has anyone else had any issues with this motherboard trying to setup a raid with win vista?

any comments/advise would be muchly appreciated!

    oh sorry,

well basically i can build the raid 0 in the bios but when i get to the vista screen where it asks which hard drive i want to install it on, my raid configuration isnt there, both raptors show up separately and from what i understand i know that when u create a raid 0 both had drives become one, isnt that right?

normally on xp, u get the option to press f6 during the bios set-up and u get the chance to load the raid drivers but with vista its all different.

i hope i made myself clear, thanks

from what i just read you did right, when you get to the screen that shows the 2 drives click install driver at the bottom of the screen and install the raid drivers.

    i found a thread http://www.pro-networks.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=71854

    hope it helps.
