I'd recomend a Jeantech Phong II then. Smart case, well built & about £50. Plenty of reviews rate it against more expensive models.

This one is on the high side of cheap, but will definately handle your needs, and has a pretty good airflow for keeping things cool. Only thing you'd have to double check is whether your motherboard is rated for running inverted.

If you want a cheap case, go for an AKASA Zen (Black) ~£30. I have the same case and it fits my 8800GTS fine. However due to the HDD cage facing the mobo and not the side panel you may not be able to use 1 of the 4 HDD bays.

the gts doesn't reach the end of an ATX motherboard so it will fit pretty much anything.

Yeah, I realise the card will prob fit most ATX cases, but I've heard a few ppl have had problems fitting them as they are quite long.

I currently have a eyeQi case, it's big and heavy and has a swing door on the front that makes it unpractical for my needs, i just need simple/cheap.

The zen one looks good to me, £30 or less is all I need in a case - thanks C2Dan! - I won't need 4HDD bays either!

    Cheers,

I should have kept my old cases, threw them away -doh!

Tell me about it, 2 Cheiftec cases and some no names that I should have kept. Still its always good to choose a new one.
The Zen is a nice looking case. Going for Apple MAC white or PC Black?

The review says, "The Phong II displays a lot of attention to detail when it comes to cooling and noise reduction."

I have a Jeantech (not Phong) - it's cool, light & well-made, but quiet NOT! But mine probably isn't designed for quietness & my components are noisy. G

My vote goes for the above.

I've built a couple of systems in the above case and it's very good value for the money. Can remove the door as well.

I've built a system in the Zen and IMO the SLK3000B is much better.
