Possible upgrade / addition to my rig

    Hi all,

Pretty much as subject line, really. I've got about £200 burning a hole in my pocket

My rig is in my sig below, any suggestions as to what i could/should spend it on, or shall i spend it on something else entirely?

    Thanks,

    Merlin

If you game a Radeon 9800np/pro would sit very well in that system.

Not much of a gamer, so a graphics card is not high on my list. Sorry, should have said that in the original post!

Odd though this might sound, I can't have a bigger screen, purely for reasons of space. Above my desk there is a shelf, and a badly positioned one at that! There isn't enough vertical space above the desk for a 17" TFT, unfortunately.

    Here you go:
XP2500+ Barton £63 at Komplett. Up the FSB to 200 to give XP3200+ performance.
Another 120gb Maxtor ATA133 HDD £80 at Ahead, gives full backup capability and RAID potential.
ATA133 RAID Controller, £15 - £50 various retailers, Dabs and Ebuyer both have these for <£20 but I don't know what they're like.
