Spec my new build!

Hi,

I just found out i passed my medical degree and so i deserve a treat.

i currently have sitting here:
1) corsair 620W
2) 2x seagate 7200.10s 320gb
3) 2x seagate 7200.7s 160gb
4) case


so i need chip/ram/motherboard/graphics/monitor.

now, i have seen the dell 2707 at pcbuyit.co.uk for around £800.

i really dont want to spend over £1500 if i can help it.

so, what to do?

Core 2 duo 4300 or 6420 depending on budget
any decent 6400 800MHz RAM 2 or 4GB
Motherboard with 965 chipset, asus P5B deluxe, abit quad gt, gigabyte DS3P.
nvidia 8800GTS/GTX get cheapest as they are all reference design
22" monitor maybe? depends how much you want to spend. Bigger is better in this case.

Forget the dell 2707... get the 3007, its cheaper, bigger, better resolution and better pixel density.

oh, and i should add - i dont envisage using my computer much, but when i do use it, i want it to be quick and a great gaming experience.
