QuadGT overclocking
Ok,
This is my first timeI am running vista....I've read Clunk's OC guide for the P5B, but this has left me slightly mystified as my Bios is quite different and i don't want to be making any mistakes and frying my system or anything...
1. Does my system look ok for OCing? (is 460w enough of a PSU? - I only want to go to around 3 from 2.4)
2. does anyone know a good step by step guide specifically for the GT?

Your system looks fine, as long as the RAM is 667MHz rated or more (sure it would be). Your 460W PSU is strong with 34A on 12V rails which is plenty.
What cooler are you using, if it is the stock one you may not get that far before heat problems. You may want to look into an extra cooler to aid the overclock.
Dont know about any specific guides tho, maybe someone else can help.
I've got that boardso if you bare with me Ill shoot up a few pictures tomorrow around 5ish to guide you through what you'll need to "tweak", but it would be helpfull to know what cooling youve got, what the memory is rated at and what your aiming for
it's a: Zalman CNPS9500-AT Intel LGA775 Aero Flower Cooler
and the RAM is: 2GB (2x1GB) CorsairTwinX XMS2, DDR2 PC2-6400 (800), 240 Pins, Non-ECC Unbuffered, CAS 5-5-5-12
Both excellent, you should be able to get a hefty overclock.

Hah, i've moved up to Hereford!..before i was in Brighton, but grew up in Ryde...
E6600 and quadgt, that combo is just made for overclocking! I'll leave it to the experts to advise you but it's pretty simple with the abit bios.
