OK - I now have an E6420 running on a Gigabyte uATX board. Running fairly happily on stock HSF at 300FSB. THis machine is primarily the gaming machine.
I need a new work machine.
Should I:
a: Get an Asus P5B dulux with an E4300 and clock the sh*t out of it and use it as the gaming PC, and use the 6420 without clocking as the work machine.
Or:
b: Put the 6420 on the Asus board, clock even further with better cooling (still use as gaming PC) and use the E4300 on the Gigabyte with moderate clocking as the work machine?
Any comments on the better combo?
The work machine needs to be quick, but not blisteringly, and Vista Business capable.
