Nope. You don't need drivers, it's all in firmware/hardware. There is a Windows utility, but you don't need it, you set everything up on the card buring boot and windows just sees it as a big ATA disk regardless of the RAID level used on the card.
The firmware hasn't been updated in god knows how long so as time goes by i would expect it to get actually get bugier as new drives with quirks are released.
there was a 5 port card as well (i have one) but they must have run out of the chips as you can't get them any more.
i have one in the main desktop. i wish someone would tak up updating the firmware but they quite good especially for the price. and yeah i was going for the 5 port version but it was disc before i could get
