connecting cheapo home cinema kit to PC and TV

Basically I am very confused and need some help.

I want to connect my cheap and nasty home cinema kit to my PC's soundcard AND my TV at the same time. Can this be done? I use my TV as a monitor.

Unfortunately I can only use phono cables (red and white ones, I think).

Am I right in thinking I should buy one of these (phone stacking leads)

Then run that from the home cinema kit to the TV... then attach one of these (phone to 3.5mm jack)

To the PC. Would this work so I would get sound out of the speakers when using the PC, then when watching the telly?

Yup, looks about right to me. Wish I'd found those stacking cables on Maplin, as I wanted to do the same thing with my TV and PS2. No need anymore though.
