And I was just reading that review, small world or just google. Interesting how the Noctuas are rated the best cos I never hear anything about them or anyone using em.. maybe I will use em and see..
And they come with rubber gromets which is a bonus

No No No, don't go for the Noctua's. Have you read in SPCR forums the number of people having issues issues with them? Even if a couple of people have those issues I wouldn't try the fans, especially at £13 (from Scan).

I would go for the Scythe 1200 over those anytime unless they sort out the issues.

I've just returned a pair of Noctuas I got them as case fans because they had fairly high cfm and their Db was lower than my sharkoon 1000s. I found in reality that they where louder than the sharkoons by a fair bit, and they didn't really cool my case any more than the sharkoons. They did move more air, but just not enough to make it worth the noise.

The noise was not particularly loud, just a bit harsh. And it was a big difference compared to these sharkoon 1000s. I wouldn't recommend them anyway.

Yate/Nexus every time. They're quiet and cool, more than p to the task.

phew, well lucky I didnt order any last night. Seems the Scythe are the safer bet then, and a Yate on the HS
