Which case for re built system?

I've just acquired our old PC to butcher up for an HTPC, but the case is horrible.
I've gone out and purchased some updated components for it:
    A64 4000+ Socket 939
    Asus A8V-SLI Deluxe
and will be using the old PSU, RAM, Graphics Card, CD-RW and DVD-RW drives.

I've been looking around at cases, but all the nice ones seem to be micro-atx, which won't fix the motherboard. Any good suggestions for a full sized ATX case? It has to look sleek and not be huge, as it'll be sat next to the TV stand in full view.
At the moment I'm very taken with the Antec P180...
    Thanks for any help.

Sure you can, if your PSU doesn't have a 10ft ATX connector you're going to have problems, as well as getting some PSUs sitting in it in the first place, then there's cable routing issues, practically no room for watercooling looms. Although the P182 has smoothed over most of these matters, cable lenght can still be a problem for some though.

I'd recommend Akasa Zen case. A bargain for £30 quid.

I fancy the Antec P180 for my rebuild but am a little worried about my PSU (Tagan Easycon 530W).

You might want to look at the Lian-Li range, some are very compact and are as sleek as they come.

The Silverstone HTPC cases might fit in better with your theme ?

I think this ones a bit pricey but theres more affordable versions !!

    Yikes, lots of replies.
Some of the Lian Li cases look nice, quite expensive tho..might have to have a look around. I really wanted a sideways case, like the Silverstone suggested, any other ideas?

If you can get the antec P180 mk2 very cheap, it's a good buy...don't pay top price because somethings on it were designed by idiots.....e.g the bottom fan should be on a sliding tray to move out of the way while plugging leads in to a modern PSU, also the side panels are wierd getting on and off and the tray caddy that hold the PSU in place..erm well I had to file the holes because it wouldn't fit a corsair PSU, also they don't give you a middle fan for cooling the graphic cards....penny pinching what does a mass produced fan cost.

I got my new P180b for a special price of £60 that is about the right price for it, now that I own one and know its faults.

In that case the Antec Fusion is a pretty nice case, half the price of the Silverstone, too.

P180 and P182 are damned nice cases.

Lots of cooling, nice design, sleek looks, and wonderfully quiet even with a 120mm fan in the top.

There's a 190 on the way, but at about £250 at last glance.

Aidjanjt sorry about the double post, site was playing funny. Man wanted to know if P80 was okay, reviews said yes. so i passed on the news. Never owned one myself, so no axe to grind.

We all live to learn. All above comments have been instructive.

P182 was fine for me, stock fans are a bit crap though, I have a Hiper Type R 580w PSU and no cable issues. Case is pretty huge though.

Antec Fusion is probably the best HTPC case but it's mATX only I think.
    Main - Intel Core i5 2300 @ 3.5GHz, 8GB DDR3 1333Mhz RAM, Asus P8P67 Pro, Coolermaster iGreen 600w, GTX 480, Antec One Case
