    CPU Temp too low?

Well Ive got my new system built:-

Antec P180, arctic pro cooler, corsair PSU, E4300, Giga DS3P rev 3.3, geil 6400 ram...What's my problem? Well I been running the computer for hours just doing run of the mill stuff like getting windows into shape after a re-install etc........ and in the bios health check the CPU doesn't go over 20c even running at 3ghz overclock.

    Anybody suspicious??????????

    Grab a programme called CoreTemp.

That will give you a better idea of the real CPU temp.

Living and dying laughing and crying
Once you have seen it you will never be the same
Life in the fast lane is just how it seems
Hard and it is heavy dirty and mean

And when you are in the bios, its not under load anyway.

As Trash Man says, grab coretemp, or TAT.

If like me and you are running Vista get the motherboard's monitoring system, that will give you the best temps. The others can't or tell you its 70C damn MBM

With coretemp it crashes my computer each time from windows, I suppose it has to be run from a dos floppy. With tat I'm getting 38c on both cpus at sorta idle, click on workload level and it shoots up to 62c (so far).

Anyway on the surface the computer is working well, but under Orthos it stops between 2 -12 mins with some hardware error on winxp and vista, and says info in stress.txt...erm well I can't find it.

Haven't increased any voltages etc but this is an award bios and is not the same as yours in the overclocking guide, I don't mind being a parrot so went to hardforum.com for something similar for the DS3P.
