Yes, intel matrix raid or summat. I know supershanks uses it on his commando and likes it.
Yep - the Intel Matrix raid is pretty good and dead simple to set up. Using raid0 on my system made a huge difference in boot times, general performance etc.
Cool - thanks guys :)
Well i'm probably going for:
E6600
Asus P5K Deluxe/WiFi-AP iP35
and some unknown waterblock as yet (maybe the one mentioned)
And some slimfast for the wife :)
D-tek fuzion, or apogee gtx are the waterblocks of choice at the moment, and they also are excellent for quad core, should you decide to upgrade in the future. Most places will let you choose which barbs you want.
*Skulks off to research them*
Ta! :)
so... what's the difference between P5K and P5B deluxe...?
I ordered the P5B with my E4300... :S
P5K uses Intel's new P35 chipset, which will support Intel's next gen CPUs.
hmmm, did I make a booboo buying the P5B then? nah... it's cheaper anyway... P5B'll do me!
Nah, the P5B is an excellent board, and it does support 1333fsb cpus, but Im not sure if it supports all of them.
ill have to get started on me p5k soon :P
and the p5b-dlx is an excellent board, good choice.
