Guys,
I'm looking to get 4 gig of DDR2 PC6400 Ram in 2 x 2GB chips.
Scan was the first option clearly, but they only have 1 kit and its over due with no known date, so I'm a bit out of options.
Crucial.com does have the kits but they are massivly over priced and PC5300 only.

DDR2-800 is a bit hard to find, if you only want DDR2-533 4GB only cost $120 there
Why not just 4x1GB?

did you go with two kits of the OCZ in the end?
I was going to suggest Crucial, but going by the price i think i would have gone to the dark side too. The crucial kit is about £130 more :gasp:

The crucial ram is expensive but in my opinion excellent quality however they didn't have an 800mhz DDR2 ram, it was all slower.

What you using 8GB for?
£170 is really very reasonable, and quite tempting, for 2x2GB sticks. especially as it is DDR2-800
