    digitle top boxes - freeview

    do you still need an ariel for these? i dont have an ariel in my room and thought cause they were digitle they would use other means to get data and that I could use one without an ariel but im been told this is not true.

    No, you need an aerial - and a good one at that.
    PHP Code:
    $s = new signature();
    $s->sarcasm()->intellect()->font('Courier New')->display();

    nope u need an arial. preferably a rooftop one but u could pick up a cheap (ish) desk arial and it would work as long as ur in a decent strength signal area.

    You can get AERIAL signal boosters too. Maplin do them, I think.

    as if u dont u get an annoying scramble that keeps locking the picture every damn 20secs.

    some boxes handle the signal better than others i have found. the original philips ones were pretty good.

    tbh if you haven't got a very good signal then a cheap booster won't be of much help as it'll boost both the noise and the signal and the box will still have problems.

    Masthead amp and a decent aerial is the only real solution to weak/noisy signals.
