    Quad GT/ IN9 mosfet waterblock. **56k**

    Right after todays performance its time to get a few photos up, as I know theres a few people interested in the block.

    Basically when you get the mips mosfet block you get the block a couple of washers, a couple of tiny bolts,thermal heatpad and a couple of VERY important spacers, oh and NO instruction manual.

    This is the block without the spacers installed, can you notice the bowing in the middle because of it, thats where I had my very large leak today, I'm using it with the spacers and its not leaking at all.

    The base is very flat/smooth, but you also have to use the thermal pad which is included as theres to much of a gap between the block and mosfets to use arctic ceramique/silver.





    Installation is a piece of cake put the thermal pad on the mosfets then secure the block on top.

    And how it looks at the moment.


    And now the final result, before I was just using som swiftech ramsinks with a 60mm fan blowing ontop of them and they were idle at around 70c and loading at 80~90c, so boy what a change.

    nice one mate, only one thing is, Where do you put the spacers etc, to prevent someone else having the same disaster ? Since there are no instructions can you do a short guide for this block buddy?

    Basically you put the thermal pad on the mosfets, lower the block ontop, then turn the board round put the washer on then the bolts on like you would with any other waterblock.

    The spacers for the fittings you put on the fitting before you screw them into the block, test it outside the pc first just to be safe as the block in my eyes isnt the best design, as if you dont use the spacers provided the fitting push the block apart allowing water to escape, which you can see in the first picture where the block is bowing in the middle.
