Can anyone recommend any?
I want my CPU fan to run at 100% at all times but I don't know how to do it.
Any ideas?

speed fan
Google "Speedfan"
I agree go with SpeedFan. Its a bit hard to configure at first, well for me it was. However you can't go wrong when you read the included manual for setting it to automatically control the fans.
Before you use it for controlling your fans make sure you disable your on board fan controller, such as Q-Fan on ASUS boards. You can do that in the BIOS.
Once you've got it set-up to how you want it. A good idea is to add a shortcut to speedfan.exe in the Start Up folder. If you don't do that you will have to manually start speedfan. Where as if its in the Startup folder Windows will launch it automatically and it'll control your fans from when you logon. I would of thought it had an option for automatically starting up when Windows starts but it doesn't so I did it the manual way.
A simple way to get the fan to fun at full speed all the time is to plug it directly into your PSU. I think thats is probably your best bet as them you are 100% certain it is always at full pelt. You may need to get a 3pin to 4pin adaptor cable though if it doesnt come with a 4pin molex connector.
If you want control over the fan though, definately get speedfan. You may have to configure it a bit to get it working, but there are loads of guides on the internet.
I noticed that you have got an Abit motherboard. I think that in the bios, it has some kind of fan controlling options. Make sure you disable those aswell. It is probably best to have another skim through the manual to make sure that you disable all the fan control stuff as I know on Asus boards there are numberous options.
Is there a way to do this in Linux? Its one of the things thats keeping me in Windows...
