What to do with old PC components

    Hi

on another thread I am busy gaining advice on what system to buy. The thought occured to me - what to do with my current PC set-up once the new one arrives? Here are the specs
    Current:
    CPU: AMDXP 2500+Barton
    MOB: Asus A7V333
    RAM: 1.5GB (SDRAM)
    GPU: Nvidia GeForce 6800GS
    Sound: Audigy 2
Hardrive: 200GB Maxtor DiamondMax (+ several external USB 2.0)
    Cooling: Zalman CNSP3100
    PSU: Q-Tec Ulta Quiet 460W
    DVD: Optiarc DVD RW
    Case: Chieftech of some description (80mm fans) (43cm L, 20cm W, 52cm H)
    OS: Win XP Pro

None of the components have been o/cd but are obviously 3-4 years old. Is there a value for any of this or would I be better in re-using them for say some sort of home set-up NAS?

    Thanks

Seems a shame to waste a good machine, second PC under the telly or something?

If you're in need of a NAS then you'd be better of selling those bits and getting something lower power and smaller.

Or you could donate it to one of the charities which supply PCs to 3rd world schools.
