New Rig

Hey all,

I am buying my new rig in a few hours, but im still undecided on the motherboard. I am using an e6600 and the memory is:
Corsair 2GB Kit (2x1GB) DDR2 800MHz/PC2-6400 XMS2 Performance Memory CL5 1.9V Matched Pair with Heat Spreaders.
I dont have loads to spend, hoping to spend £60-80. i dont need any fancy bits on it, just needs to be a good overclocking board.
Also, is that RAM any good for compatability and overclocking?

I am also unsure about a case and PSU. For the PSU i was thinking:
Tagan Dual-Engine 650W PSU - 2x PCI-E With EMI Shielding EPS12V
And the Case:
Antec Nine Hundred - Gaming Case with 200mm Top Fan - No PSU

But if there are cheaper alternatives that are better value then i welcome any suggestions. I want a quality case with good airflow.

The other components are:
ATI X1900XT 512MB
320GB Seagate HDD
Sound Blaster Live 5.1 sound card
DVD-RW

The Corsair PSU is very good...i agree with Paul there (even though the Enermax Infinity is my new favourite by a mile)

The Antec Nine Hundred case, although nice looking is a poorly designed case. (My brother bought one 3 weeks ago).

There are sharp edges in it.
The fans are very very loud on full steam (which will prolly be needed in the summer.

The worst thing of all though is the dust as this has NO filters at all.
Because the case is basically just a grill, the front fans suck each and every bit of dust in you can imagine.
Even though my brother is a lazy git his house isnt that dusty but his case is dusting up badly inside already and thats a recipe for disaster.

More Dust = More Heat = Louder fans

you would be much better off getting crucial ballistix direct from crucial, use quidco to get 7% cashback too. get 2gb of pc6400. all crucial ballistix use micron d9 chips, which are used in (nearly) all of the high-frequency ddr2 around today.

I wouldn't go with the ASUS personally
