    XFX 5-port REVO

I've slagged these off in the past, but i re-installed it in my HTPC the other day to get some disks online and it seems to be behaving itself.

Does anyone know if it does online RAID expansion? I seem to think it does, but can't remember 100%.

I have a 500GB disk with all my music on it. I have another that i need to RMA with Maxtor and a third on order from Scan. If i plug the one with data into the REVO, then add the new one will it just mirror onto the new disk?

Then if i connect the replacement from Maxtor will it expand the array to get me 3 disk RAID-3 with about 1TB available?

I'm 90% sure i have the logic right, i just want to check. I have no way to back up 450GB or music and i really don't want to screw it up

    Unlimited Capacity At Your Fingertips
Adding more storage has never been easier! The Revolution SPU (storage processing unit) not only allows you to quickly double your storage capacity, it also doubles performance. To add capacity, simply plug your exisitng hard drive into a Netcell Revolution storage processor-based card and then attach two additional hard drives.
