Ive heard they are "C" panels - apparently the worst of the three (A/S/C).

However dont know if thats a rumour or not, going to head in my local PCW soon to check! If anyone checks before can you let us know!!
    Thanks,

I was tempted when I saw this offer yesterday, though with the 4 different panels that are used in it, I've kind of lost interest in the 226BW. Too much of a lottery.

Not sure where you got 'C' from? Everyone that has checked so far are reporting 'A' panels. I'll let you know when mine gets delivered next week!

Is there really that much difference??

Having said that, I've got an s panel and it looks fine to me. But not a million times better than the generic hanns g 19" I used to have. Just happy about the lack of dead pixels.

The stock by me is selling out very quickly - the largest store got some in yesterday evening, and they're all gone again already!!

    I have a 20.1" Viewsonic VP201S (1600x1200) - should I look at getting this, or not?

A friend of mine in the states has both A and S panels, and said side by side it's possible to distinguish between them if you know what you're looking for, but he also said that he doubted you'd know which was which without direct side by side comparison.

Anyway - mine looks awesome and initially I'm very happy with it.

BTW, it comes with both DVI and analogue cables, and power leads.

Went into PC world and the one on display was an A, he wouldnt open a box up for me to check another panel so i walked out.

I dont want to part with my cash until i get an S panel.
