I cant believe that they can do 90cfm at 18dbA. They must be measuring from pretty far away or telling porkies.
Apparently SilenX are the danglies when it comes to efficient quiet fans - however, they command a price premium as you can see.
Original Trust ID was handsy with the following info...

..but I changed it to machinist to synch up with my forum name...

...no rating at the moment, as I haven't bought or sold against this ID yet.
if would be for a cpu cooler so I don't mind spending that much as long as it's just the one.
Silent PC say theyre stats are vastly exaggerated. They measured the lowest speed model of that series and it barely got under 20dbA at 5V. The top speed model is only going to be noisier than that. They definitely arent worth £16.
You could import some high speed Yate Loons for a lot less:

You do not pay import tax on products with less than £18 value excl. shipping.
The specs are complete nonsense and they are vastly overpriced.
^^ as Flewis says, the Loonies from jab-tech are what you need. They work great at 7v.
Ok kool.
Not too worried about getting one at the moment just looked interesting.
I once bought a couple of SilenX 14dba fans at £20 each.
Never again, you can get better fans for a quarter of that price.
Having said that, one guy on SPCR (he's a Fan Guru) has favourable things to say about the 38mm depth fan(s) he has. When undervolted it's good and doesn't suffer from motor noise (or less of it).
