    P4 Socket 478 friendly HSF.

    As most only bother to list 775 now I am not 100% sure if a HSF will be compatible with a 478 mobo.

    As everyone goes on about the freezer 7 pro I thought I would go for that but having never built a P4 machine I'm not sure if there is anything to be wary about. Will it go on OK like I think it will?

    AC say that it's 775 so I would say no (775 & 478 have quite different retaining systems).

    the freezer 4 is listed just a twitch above that is 478 compatale. i should know i use it
