About LinkBacksAnyway, aside from the graphics card 'issues'. anyone got any reasons this lot wouldn't go together? Would I have to plug in a floppy to get SATA to work, like I did with my A8V, or do they come pre-configured for SATA these days?

plug and play matey, i thought you only needed drivers for RAID from a floppy
So did I, but when I put my SATA drive on the A8V, itneeded a BIOS update to recognise it...
well all mobos now shouldnt need oneim on 754, (pretty old socket IMO) and it was plug n play
