    modding idea I have never taken off a torx screw before is because I normally buy base components not destroy my existing stuff

    I got two torx tool bits with a cheapo ratchet screwdriver I bought. They are similar sizes - about a couple of mil in diameter.

    So? I've got the allen key type security torx kit which I got from my local 99p just cause they were 99p, how does it help the OP?
