Low Windows Experience Index Score with Raptor

    Hi,

Just built my new system with Vista x64 Ultimate, everything is working fine in it. Gigabyte 965P-S3m 2x1gb DDR6400 Patriot memory, Core2Duo 6320@3.06ghz, 40gb Raptor as my main (windows) drive, and secondary 250gb WD hard drive.

    My scores are:
    Processor: 5.7
    Memory: 5.9
    Graphics: 5.9
    Gaming Graphics: 5.8
    Primary Hard Disk: 5.3

How comes my raptor is scoring so low? I defragged it again just to check it wasn't that. Ang suggestions? My mate's slower drive scored higher than this and I thought the score was based purely on raw speed.

How much free space does it have? It could be slowing down due to the lack of free space.

It's size versus speed for an overall score IIRC, my 36gig raptor got the same score so i doubt there's a problem.

The whole thing is screwed up tbh, an E6600 got me a score of 5.3, some guy with a 6400 got way higher.

Ah ok, I thougth it just went on raw performance when I saw "Disk data transfer rate" in the description. If someone else has about the same score then I'm happy

Its got about 9gb free btw (Vista eats disk space).
