Heatsink Choices - Help

Just about to build a new rig which will use a P5B deluxe wifi(which I already have thanks to Clunk) and an E6600. Gonna use my existing Silverstone TJ05 case.

I am now confused about heatsink choice. I was going to go for the ultra 120 extreme, then I read the hexus review and the ultra 120 didn't get a great review(I know they didn't test the extreme as it wasn't available but I thought it would have slightly more performance than the ultra 120 so would be comparable). The review suggests the typhoon. I've also been looking at the scythes.

What I'm looking for is a good heatsink that has maximum cooling power(am planning to oc later) but I want it as quiet as possible.

Apart from watercooling(which I've never done before but would be willing to try), which is the best heatsink in your experience. There are so many highly rated and one review can contradict another.

I'm now confused as to what to go for.

As hexus said, they recommended the thermalright typhoon(or whatever the new name for it is) but they couldn't test the ultra 120 extreme. Each review on each site says something different. That's why I'm confused. - also they couldn't check the DBA on the hsf's as they said there was no non-mega expensive way of testing noise accurately.
