Adding another 1gb of RAM

Evenin all.

I have 2x1gb of PC6400 OCZ Platinum in atm and i have just won another 2x512mb of the PC6400 GOLD version OCZ.

Question is, would i be right in thinking that i could add the 2x512mb and still run in dual channel.

I run the Platinum @ 4-4-4-12
The Gold will also run at that so dya reckon al will be good to run?

(BTW...got it brand new for £25 )

as long as they're in dual channelised slots, they should work in dual channel along side the other ones iirc. although, the total ram speed will not be faster than the slowest pair, but they're both 6400 and can run the same timings so this shouldn't be a problem. i hope

even if it dont run in "dual chan", dont worry about it - the gain is so small anyway its not worth worrying about
