Ouch
I was just enjoying a game of 2142 whilst simultaneously checking my CPU/chipset temp...anyways:
TAT -
57/57
Speedfan:
Chipset 61
System:
E6300 @ 2.8/1.35
2gb Geil 6400 (hot to touch)
8800GTX
Arctic Freezer 7 Pro
Now, the game changed levels and for some reason did the "optimizing" thing it does when you've changed a setting etc. Anyway - got into game and it just stopped. It hadn't locked up - but when I alt-tabbed it it wasn't responding. Anyway - are these temps too high? Bear in mind that it is scorching today. My idle temp's can be between 50-55 in this heat. My case is a Lian-Li V1000B+/2 stock 120mm fans/Scythe Kama bay cooler with stock fan.
Personally I think the temp's are fine, but I thought I'd seek some advice :p

I'd say they are a touch on the warm side, but with this weather it would be challenging to lower then, if you've got any spare fans laying around bung 'em in and make sure that everything is nice and dust free, the filter on my front intake was coated in dust this morning.

crack open the side and point a deskfan at it from a distance if it is only the weather causing it

Yeah I think it is only the weather. I think I'll leave it tbh. Although I'd like some more opinions.

Yup it's quite humid today. Currently reading 28oC on my £5 comet weather station.
