My computer freezes during Games. HELP!!!

Everytime I play a computer game, such as knight online or any game that requires full screen 10 mins later the entire thing freezes i try to click my mouse and all I hear is one beep and the mouse is frozen, I thought it was overheating so I bought an 18 inch high velocity fan and I put it right behind my computer, first of all I noticed an improvement but after about an hour of playing it still freezes I downloaded speedfan and the reading is this while im browsing the internet with the fan behind it on the 2nd button
    CPU:30C
    MOBO:43C
    Temp3:52C
    Harddrive:43C
    Temp1:32C
    What should I do?

    Thanks in advance.

If its the rig in your sig its just a case of not being powerful enough.

If not, what specs do you have?

it's a very long shot, considering he's running an athlon xp 2600.

his power supply's a bit weedy for one. I wouldn't expect his onboard graphics to run many games at a decent frame rate either, but i wouldn't think the pc would hang.

I'd look at the psu, and temperatures.

The PC in your details looks like it would really struggle with a lot of things, so that is likely the problem. Only 256mb of RAM would get eaten in no time.

Something you could try, is taking the sides off the case, and pointing your big fan directly at the inside of the PC. Its not much good being at the back.

If that helps, then its a temperature problem. I had a similar problem with my old PC though, and I am pretty sure that was because the power supply just got too old and was struggling too much.
