    PSU for RX 480 / GTX 1060?

    Hi guys,

I am looking to get a PSU which would be fit for the RX 480 or GTX 1060. May just go for an RX 480 to save a few bob.
Would a 430W or 450W be ok? I don't want to get something that is overkill.
Overclockers page suggests 400+ for the Sapphire RX 480 Nitro

    Many thanks

450W is arguably already overkill But it's hard to find good supplies with much less than this so I think your aim of a 430/450 is sound.

Get yourself a quality 400W-450W unit. You should be spending around £50 ish.

This would be a good option:

Thanks, yeah I've struggled to see much below 430W

So found a 450W Corsair Hybrid for £40 and then a Be Quiet Hybrid for £52, is it worth spending the extra £12 on the Be Quiet?

Yes. I'd stay well clear of anyone offering to provide a UK power cable only as a 'free limited time/while stocks last offer'. But the superflower one above would be my preferred choice.
