My RX620 just broke down and of course costs more to fix than a new printer. So I am now looking for a new printer of similar of better spec. On scan I have seen this http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Produ...oductID=472133 and with the good stuff I have been hearing about Canon seems good. I would like to go for a canon now of around the same price point but I dod not know where to buy from should I just go with scan?
The MP600 is an excellent all-in-one and I've recommended a few. Amazon have it slightly cheaper than Scan at the moment (link).
Also consider the MP510 which is the next model down but a lot cheaper. Link
I think the Canon would be an excellent choice. The only complaint I've heard is that it takes a little while to warm up. Support is good as well.
The Canon's are fantastic at the moment, I've installed a couple recently. I've had a few driver issues but a reinstall normally sorts them. Very good value.

I've done some research on this because I'm looking to get an all in one. The Canon Pixmas pee all over the opposition. I like the MP600(R) or the MP530 depending on what feature set you want. The R version has ethernet connection, which would be handy for me, but you may not need.
In the end we bough an HP C7180 on a special deal and it is amazing plus it is wireless. Just isnt a canon though. The photo prints it does are amazing though.
sort of on this subject, does anyone know if laser photo paper exists? and where i can get it from?
I have an epson cx11nf - and its quite a big beast, and does everything. color prints on plain A4 are of very good quality, but the fact that you can see the texture of the paper and its not glossy means its not the same.
so, if you have any ideas, id love to know! thanks.
