    £250 budget for 22" monitor

I should be getting my tax rebate soon so i'm going to treat myself to a new monitor to compliment my new rig. I should have around £250 to spend, but if need be, i could stretch it a bit.

    Any recommendations?

So far i really like this one from LG:

    Any help is appreciated.

Was just going to recommend that one. Seems like the dogs from the specs.. I'd like to test one though.

That's more of a TV / TFT, will you be hooking it up to a PS2 / freeview box or will it only be for the PC?

Yeh i saw that one and was considering it, but for just £50 more you get a HD ready TV as well. Also, later this year or early next year i am looking to get a PS3 (when the price goes down) and this would be great to play it on as well.

1000:1 compared to the 3000:1 contrast ratio of the LG.

5ms compared to the 2ms refresh rate of the LG.

Now I know manufacturer specs have to be taken with a pinch of salt but I think the final nail in that monitor's coffin is the fact it's f'ugly.

EDIT: It has a narrower viewing angle too!

It's not a true 3000:1 in the LG..but they are nice.
