Just Need Confirmation on these Cables...

I need to be able to connect two 3pin fan connectors to one 3 pin connector on a fan controller. Would I be right in thinking this is the cable I am after:

The second cable I need confirmation on is this one:

Would this cable be ok to use with this card: (Nvidia Quadro FX 3500) as it uses a G71 core, same as those used on geforce 79xx cards. I just want to be able to connect my hdtv to the graphics card via component. Reckon it would work?
