    Question Pro or Low Latency??

Im gonna buy some Corsair Twinx 3200 ram and there are 3 versions...

    Theres the normal 3200 $439
    Theres the Pro 3200 $440
And theres the Low Latency 3200 $475

    Now which would be better??..
The Pro is a dollar more than the normal... but the Low Latency is $35 more than the Pro....

Just remember that these are aussie dollars.... not uk dollars..... so the prices look bigger and they ARE.. i mean i have to pay double what u guys do for the same thing.....

I'd go for the low latency stuff myself. Low latency = faster.

To Better help and understand what you are doing let us know what speed you are running your processor at, are you overclocking at present, is this the intention to now overclock etc etc.

It will give you a better answer and be more helpful i'm sure.

Well I think the only one I'd avoid is the PRO if I remember right the pc4000 version of that memory got fairly slated on a hexus review a while back. Its just pretty LED's on it anyway. Personally the low latency stuff will just guarentee to to 2-6-2-2 the normal stuff won't, yet 999 times out of 1000 it will without issue.

Depends on whether you want to spend the extra $35 imo.

Do u think it would be better to get a gig or go for 512?? cause not many sigs have a gig of ram and they dont sound to be needing it......

Depends what you do with your machine, MY intel machine only has half a gig as this is used for games and development tasks where i don't need the memory, however my shuttle is used for when i go Lan Gaming so I usually play the game on my machine and run it as the server so the additional memory is absolutely essential for that.

I'd say you would be fine with 512mb, but personally if I could afford it at present i'd love to put in a gig of PC4000 memory so i could run my intel rig 1:1 with the processor.
