    Orthos Warning

Just built a system and have used Orthos for the first time. I have one core (# 2 on my 6600) that is giving me the following: WARNING: Affinity Mask: Process: 0xC Sys: 0xF

Is this anything to worry about? This still shows passing tests, but this comes up fairly often. Any idea as to what it means?
I used to have something here.

    Nothing to see, move along...

    No, nothing to worry about.

The warning comes from code I added to check what the system CPU affinity was and what affinity the app was running with.

In your case, 0xF (bits 0-3) means that there are 4 CPUs available, but the Process = 0xC (bits 2 & 3) means that there are only 2 CPUs that the app is allowed to run on.

When I developed Orthos, I didn't expect Intel or AMD to come out with a consumer-level >2 core CPU so fast.

I just built my first ever rig (for gaming) and have begun my first ever OC's.

I am getting the following warnings:

WARNING: Affinity Mask: Process: 0x1 Sys: 0x3
WARNING: Affinity Mask: Process: 0x2 Sys: 0x3

Would Mr Orthos or anyone happen to know what this means? Running Orthos on each core with the Small FFT's test.

    My System: E6420 OC'd to 3.2ghz (8x400) + GA-P35-DS3R.
