looking at o\clockers this week only and i can get the above in 2x1Gb with a £10 difference it will be on an abit ip35-pro board.
Any help in which to choose?

the crucial stuff will probably give you tighter timings when overclocking but I couldn't say for sure. go with what your wallet tells you I don't think either would dissapoint.
Don't they use the same chips anyway - or is that just the Reaper modules?
The OCZ RAM allows you to up the voltage to 2.4V whilst still being under warranty (which might be useful if you're an overclocker) but both should give you excellent performance - especially for the price right now.

Crucial ballistix are around the same price, if not cheaper than a comparable set of OCZ ram (reaper/flex xlc)with similar chips (d9xxx), and the crucial 8500 sticks that I have, go over 200mhz higher, and do tighter timings, with less volts, than the OCZ flex xlc 9200 that I had.
If you RMA to OCZ, they will ask you to send the sticks back to the US, which can take up to 6 weeks for the shipping alone, and then there is the cost of shipping as well...not cheap.
