    Arctic Silver

I have an old tube of Arctic Silver (v3 maybe) that's probably about 7 years old now. I'm getting a new Q6600 Quad soon, and wondered if it's still OK to use or if I'd be better off buying a fresh tube. My tube says "optimized for small contact areas" on it.

I'd get some new stuff when you order. Apparently the new arctic cooling stuff is now the daddy...

it may have seperated in the tube with being stored for so long, so not worth the risk imho.

Thanks guys. Like you say, for the price it's probably worth getting a fresh tube
