Well tonight's not as warm as it has been and my temps have settled down to "normal" levels but the sensor in Speedfan for "Mobo" is resting at 61 degrees when it is normally 54 degrees.
This sensor is the Temp1 sensor on the IT8712F (?) Cant remember where I got the config file which said it was the Mobo sensor. Is it the Northbridge ?
Anyway is this anything to be concerned about ?
It doesnt seem to go up any when I run Orthos

That reminds me must add my system back into profile.....
My board the Asus P5W DH Deluxe has high temperatures on SpeedFan compared to PCProbe and CoreTemp... I dont get 64C but i get high 50's in gaming...
That is way too high for that board at idle, but I suspect that speedfan is way off as usual.
Is the NB heatsink hot to touch?
And dont forget to add 15c onto your cpu temps as well.
Yep the "SilentPipe" is indeed hot to the touch, not burning but pretty uncomfortable.
Everest reports CPU temps ~ 3 degrees more than Speedfan
Gigabyte Easytune reports the same temps as Speedfan
TATs pretty much the same as Speedfan

EDIT: It's just dropped to 59 degrees :)
